Why Orthodontic Care Matters

Straightening your teeth does more than improve your smile’s appearance. Properly aligned teeth:

Make brushing and flossing easier, reducing the risk of cavities and gum disease

Improve your bite alignment, reducing stress on teeth and jaw joints

Help prevent wear and tear caused by crowding or misalignment

Boost your confidence with a healthy, balanced smile

Whether you’re correcting minor crowding or more complex misalignment, our orthodontic treatments are tailored to your unique needs and lifestyle.

Traditional Braces

For patients with more complex orthodontic needs, traditional braces remain the most reliable and effective option. Today’s braces are more comfortable and discreet than ever, using slim, low-profile brackets and advanced wires to gently guide teeth into alignment.

Retainers

Once your orthodontic treatment is complete, wearing a retainer is essential to maintaining your beautiful results. At Belvedere Family Dentistry, we create custom retainers to fit your smile perfectly and hold your teeth in their new position.
Types of Retainers We Offer

Removable Retainers

Easy to clean and wear, perfect for maintaining results after Invisalign® or braces.

Fixed Retainers

Bonded to the back of teeth for discreet, permanent retention.

Why Retainers Matter
Without a retainer, your teeth can gradually shift back toward their original positions, undoing the hard work and investment you’ve made in your smile. Our team will guide you on how to care for and wear your retainer to ensure lasting results.

Ready to Experience Better Dentistry?

Discover the difference personalized care can make. Whether you’re looking for routine cleanings, cosmetic enhancements, or urgent dental care, the team at Belvedere Family Dentistry is here to serve you with excellence, compassion, and expertise.

Orthodontic treatment is used to correct teeth and jaws that have grown in positioned improperly. If your teeth are not positioned properly, they can be harder to keep clean, which can lead to tooth decay or periodontal disease, or they can cause extra stress on your muscles when chewing, causing headaches or neck and shoulder pain. Orthodontic treatment can result in a healthier mouth, a more aesthetically pleasing smile, and a longer lifespan for your teeth.

Our team members at Belvedere Orthodontics are experts in orthodontic treatment, and we offer many different appliances, both fixed and removable, to help perfect your smile. These appliances place gentle pressure on your teeth and jaws to move them into the proper position over a period of time. Our team will determine which appliance is best suited for each individual patient based on your first orthodontic consultation.

INVISALIGN

Invisalign aligners are used to straighten crooked or crowded teeth, as well as close gaps and adjust overbites. The treatment involves wearing clear, plastic trays that are custom-designed for your mouth, making Invisalign a less-noticeable alternative to metal braces.

INTERCEPTIVE ORTHODONTICS

Interceptive orthodontics are implemented early on to reduce the amount of orthodontic work your child will need as they grow into their teenage years. Phase I should begin around age 7 to aid in jaw development so that the upper and lower jaws grow together in proper alignment. Tooth position, crooked or gapped teeth, is treated in phase II.
