BRIDGES
A bridge crosses the space left by a missing tooth or other dental space and helps secure the teeth on either side. A bridge is comprised of two dental caps that are placed on either side of the space, with a pontic in the middle that replaces the missing tooth/teeth.
CROWNS
A crown is a dental cap that covers a damaged tooth, restoring not just its appearance but also improving strength and functionality. Cemented permanently in place, a crown can then be cared for and maintained as easily as a regular tooth. We offer crowns in a wide variety of materials:
- Metal – Metal crowns can be anything from stainless steel, gold, or silver. These crowns are much more visually obvious; however, they are some of the strongest allowing for long-term functionality.
- Porcelain – Porcelain is a popular choice for those wanting crowns that blend in with their current teeth. The porcelain is fused to an underlying metal crown for greater durability.
- Ceramic – Ceramic is another option for those wanting a dental crown that closely matches their natural tooth color. These are usually used for better aesthetics in the front teeth.
DENTURES
Dentures are another option for the replacement of missing teeth. There are two types of dentures available, partial removable dentures and complete dentures. Complete dentures are used when all the teeth are missing, while partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain.
FILLINGS
It is almost certain everyone will have to deal with the most basic of dental maladies, cavities. If left unaddressed, cavities can cause much more widespread tooth decay and oral pain. When a cavity is removed, ensuring the infected portions of the tooth no longer remain, it can leave an open space that not only threatens the structural integrity of the tooth but can make it easier for infection. A composite resin or amalgam filling fixes this by replacing the lost tooth structure.
PARTIALS
Partials are used when a person is missing some or all their teeth on the top or bottom arch. Partials allow a person to eat and speak better while helping build self-confidence.
DENTAL IMPLANTS
Dental implants can be used to replace one or multiple missing teeth. Implants are placed within your jawbone and topped with a dental crown to look and function just like your natural teeth.
